Comments:2302 - The reviews speak for themselves. Usually I go super in depth on these but Dr. Kay is EASILY the best QBA professor at Baylor. She dumbs down the material so well so everyone understood it. The class layout is, 6 quizzes (2 being partner quizzes - free 100s), 4 exams and a cumulative final with optional HW. Don’t get me wrong, I struggled in certain areas in this class, as the material does truly get harder as the semester goes by, but if you study for the quizzes and tests and DO HER EXAM REVIEWS, you will get an A pretty easily. I got an A without doing any of the HW, but the HW definitely helps. Stay on top of the work, study what you don’t understand, and you will have a blast in Dr. Kay’s QBA class. Take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - Prof Kay is such an amazing prof! She is super helpful and she is a super sweet woman. I didnt do the best in this class bc i am rlly bad at math ngl, but it wasnt her fault, it was mine lol. she doesnt grade hw, but do it because the tests are literally like the hw. if you miss 3 classes or less your final can replace your lowest test grade (this was hard bc i had her at 8am tho) also the first exam was pretty easy, but I didn't study so I only made a 80 which is why i ended with a B in the class. There is about 6 quizzes and 4 exam + the final..which means they are weighted heavily, so make sure you do well on them. overall, she is a great prof  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2302 - She is the best teacher I've ever had at Baylor. She offers so much extra credit, and she is so straightforward. Her tests are so easy, and are the exact same as quizzes. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2024-11-10

Comments:QBA 2302 - Prof. Kay is one of the best professors I've ever had. She is super straightforeward with the notes and what will be on exams and how to do the problems. We got out of class 15-20 minutes early almost every time and she explains the material very clearly. All homework is optional and supplemental. Her exams and quizzes are fairly easy, as she's very clear on what they will be over. You have to take this class you won't find a better professor at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2024-04-20

Comments:QBA - Ms. Kay is 100% one of the best teachers at baylor. She makes qba easy to understand. Homework is optional, she prepares well for quizzes and tests, drops lowest quiz grade and gives you the opportunity to replace your lowest test. On top of all of that an A in her class is a 90. TAKE HER  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-12-05

Comments:QBA2302 - BEST TEACHER!!! I personally think her rating should be higher. She is very clear about her material and homework is explained well. Homework does not have a grade but greatly helps for quizzes and tests. She has 4 exams and 6 quizzes but 2 of the quizzes you can do it with your partner. I always feel so safe in this class when asking questions. Cheryl Kay is so beautiful and a perfect teacher!!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-12-05

Comments:QBA2302 - Take this class because the workload really isnt that bad I study a day before the exams and quizzes and do fine. I think this class is really straightforward once you understand her teaching style and whats on the quizzes and exams. She does practice problems in class which are helpful because she explains everything and assigns homework which you dont have to do. The quizzes and tests are straight from the homework/in class notes and she gives all the answers for the homework on canvas and exam reviews. Imo the quizzes are harder than the exams, but if you do good on the quizzes you'll keep your grade up.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2023-11-15

Comments:QBA 2302 - I think the reviews her may have over exaggerated how good of a teacher Cheryl Kay is. Definetly not a bad teacher, but not "AN AMAZING TEACHER?BEST TEACHER EVER" as many have said. Her class does not have homework for a grade which is a big +, but her explanations in class aren't perfect. Definetly enough to be able to understand, but they could be a lot better.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-11-15

Comments:2302 - Take her for QBA! She gives out a decent amount of extra credit for just participating in class. There is also very little outside work for class. She does example problems in class similar to the optional (but recommended by her) homework problems. The exams are very straightforward and basically ask the same questions as the homework and class example problems! Overall, this class was pretty easy! I could just be good at QBA, but as long as you pay attention in class to some extent and study the examples and homeworks for tests, you should do fine!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-11-10

Comments:2302 - She was always very clear in her explanations during class and used our class time efficiently. We always managed to finish about 15-20 minutes early. A lot of her homework and practice exam questions would be similar to the questions on the test so definitely do the supplemental work she assigns. Overall, a pretty good and easy class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2023-05-20

Comments:QBA 2302 - This class was great. Cheryl Kay made the course super easy and there is plenty of opportunities to get your grade up. Her grading scale is extremely generous. Take her as a professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2022-12-21

Comments:2302 - TAKE HER. She is the best teacher ever, class flies by so fast. She does go fast but it helps because she is to the point. DO THE HW and you will understand everything that is going on. Her quizzes are harder than the exams, but she will sometimes give you 5+ points if you talk in class. The exams are all multiple choice while the quizzes are some multiple and short answer. DO NOT BUY THE SOFTWARE you will NEVER use it. Do not do it waste of $20. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK, I did just incase and I have not opened it at all. She is such a great teacher and repairs you for the test so well. But she is not very helpful in office hours she is kinda scary.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2022-11-16

Comments:2302 - I have never taken a stats class in my life and this class was honestly so easy. You don't really need to study too hard for exams as long as you can understand how to do everything and know the theory behind it. Dr. Kay moves so quickly but you can honestly understand everything she is teaching. The lowest quiz is dropped, two of our quizzes were with partners, and the final can replace the lowest exam grade. I would highly recommend taking Dr. Kay!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2022-05-11

Comments:2302 - Cheryl Kay is the best professor for QBA, no doubt. In my opinion, this class is as close to a blow off as you'll get in college. If you know how to do all of the examples and assignments that she gives out, you will be in a great position to do well in this class. Me and my buddies would study the material a night before the test and be just fine in this class. I highly recommend Dr. Kay!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2021-12-22

Comments:2302 - BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD! I literally love this lady so much. She is such a good professor and makes hard subjects seem easy. Her notes are so thorough and she makes sure everyone understands. Tests are easy as long as you study. I never did any homework and am doing great in the class. TAKE HER!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2021-11-17

Comments:2302 - Didn't learn anything from this course. The only reason I passed was because I took Statistics in high school. I hated the hybrid schedule. I don't think she explained any of her work she would just show you. There were 3 tests and a final with maybe 4 quizzes. All the questions were multiple choice. If I could retake this class I would not take her.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2021-05-13

Comments:QBA 2302 - I don't usually write reviews, but I made an account specifically to endorse Professor Kay. She is by far the best QBA professor at Baylor. I'm not big on statistics, but I cannot imagine what a nightmare this class would have been if it weren't for her teaching style. TAKE HER  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2021-04-20

Comments:QBA 2302 - BEST PROFESSOR for this course. Her ability to make difficult concepts into very understandable material is fantastic. I would have really disliked this class if it were not for her.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2021-04-07

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay is the best option for 2302. She's a super nice lady and answered any questions and didn't make you feel dumb. Our class lectures were straight to the point and we did not waste any time. There is homework, but it's optional and she doesn't collect it, but it helps you understand the concepts better if you actually do it. We only had 6 quizzes and she told us exactly what would be on them so there were no surprises. We had 4 tests plus a final, but I actually liked having a lot of tests because it helps break up the topics so you didn't have to study so much material for one test. The final wasn't bad, she told us how to study and gave us materials we need. If you took AP stat in high school, this class goes over the exact same topics and it will be a breeze for you. PS her license plate says Dr C Kay lol  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2020-12-04

Comments:QBA - The most fair and reasonable professor I’ve taken at Baylor. She teaches you exactly what you need to know for the tests and quizzes and doesn’t waste any time with busy work or teaching stuff you don’t need to know for exams. I am terrible at math, but I made an A because of her amazing and straight forward teaching style. By far the best option for QBA; my friends who did not take her regretted it. Take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2020-12-03

Comments:QBA 2302 - she is a terrible professor. She doesn't know how to work technology and sets up the stuff in canvas wrong, which made my grade lower than it actually was the whole time. Then when we brought it up to her she got mad and told us to deal with it. She then set up the final to be taken between certain times and dates in canvas and then goes actually you have to take on the time it says on the syllabus the day before the test. She is literally the most contradictory person you will ever meet, that plays favorites.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2020-11-30

Comments:2302 - Kay is not a bad professor for QBA at all! QBA is not an easy class, so no matter the professor you will need to put the work in. She is no nonsense and is a little intimidating, but she explains the material pretty well. I was not doing great in the class at first, but when I reached out and asked for help she was understanding. She wants her students to succeed. You'd be fine taking Kay  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2020-11-20

Comments:2303 - I hate QBA but if I had to take it with anyone i'm glad it was with Kay. She's a super fast talker and knows her stuff. Print out all her examples early on in the semester so you have them ready for class so you don't forget it. Those examples are your friend and go to class so you know specifically how to work out the problems. She doesn't collect homework but if you want to do good on the tests and quizzes then work through them. If you have 3 absences or less at the end of the semester then you can replace your lowest test grade with the score you get on your final so try not to miss.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2019-01-06

Comments:2302 - Great professor. Explains things really well and she wants you to succeed. Would highly recommend!  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2018-05-05

Comments:2302 - TAKE KAY- She's probably one of the best professors i've ever had. She's straight forward, is good at teaching. Its not that difficult a class and she makes it even easier.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2017-12-15

Comments:QBA I - Easy class with this teacher. Exams are straight forward and the quizzes are doable with a little studying. BTW she's SO HOT!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-12-15

Comments:2302 - Not much to say here. She is a great professor, and is incredibly smart. Homework is for personal understanding, and not for a grade. The class has four exams, and 6 quizzes (one dropped). It is fair, extremely fair actually, and you can make an A. Take Kay, you won't regret it.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-12-14

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay is a great professor, I highly recommend her. As somebody who is absolutely awful at all things math, she did a great job of explaining it to me at a level I understood. Homework is not for a grade and there is a quiz that comes before every test, if you study the material you will do well on the tests.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2017-04-25

Comments:QBA 2302 - Take her for stats! She is the best teacher you can get for that class. She goes pretty slow through class and goes over the same stuff a lot. Your only grade is quizzes and tests, and all the homework is optional. The quizzes and tests are super easy the average is usually a high B or an A for the entire class. You can easily get an A just by studying the night before any of the tests. I would definitely take her over anyone.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-04-12

Comments:QBA1 - She teaches very well, hardly any busy work, and quizzes and tests are pretty easy. Only downsides I see is that she moves pretty fast and gives you almost to much to study with. If you are debating the 8am I would easily take it again, while I was practically a zombie, I just wrote down notes and didn't pay pretty much any attention. She also grades everything fast which is super nice. Lastly she will say that the final is evenly split which is very wrong IMO. She focuses quite a bit on last section which was upsetting cause I hardly studied that section  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2017-01-02

Comments:QBA 2302 - Take Dr. Kay if you can for 2302. She is very helpful and wants students to succeed. Everything she does is posted to canvas so even if you miss class/don't pay attention you can learn everything.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2016-12-14

Comments:2302 - Homework is optional and no busywork which is great. The quizzes and tests are not hard, and she spends time right before them to go over the material so you don't need to study. Also she has a cute southern accent which is amusing. Great teacher!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2016-11-17

Comments:QBA 2302 - Professor Kay is AWESOME. Take her if you have the chance. She is an excellent professor and the class is SO easy. She is really engaging and cares about her students. She is funny and explains material in a way that is very easy for follow and understand. The tests and quizzes are exceedingly easy (one exam our class average was 90). Quizzes are a mix of multiple choice and true/false and sometimes a short answer problem. Exams are all multiple choice. She gives you a formula sheet for every exam. The homework is "suggested" and there are tons of materials she provides to study for the exam (if you even study at all). I never used the book once-don't waste your money purchasing it. This class is super easy and I would highly recommend Professor Kay to anyone!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-11-25

Comments:QBA 2302 - She is funny, her methods are effective, do the homework. Unfortunately, the reality is that you probably can't get a spot in one of her classes. If the waitlist isn't too huge, enroll in her class  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-11-17

Comments:qba - Great teacher and pretty easy class. Also, MILF ALERT  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-10-09

Comments:QBA 2302 - TAKE KAY. Super easy class and she really teaches the material very well. I took it because I read the reviews saying she was hot and she's definitely attractive  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-05-19

Comments:2302 - Dr Kay is such a good professor! She uses a free online textbook and uploads note outlines and example problems on blackboard at the beginning of the semester. She writes all of her notes on the blackboard. Her examples are very very similar to test questions. Her quizzes are pretty hard but she drops the lowest. She assigns homework but does not ever grade it or take it up, but I found it really helpful and helped prepare me for the tests. Whenever I went to visit with her, she was extremely helpful and made sure I was able to understand everything. I wish she taught the 2nd QBA because I would take her again! Great professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-05-12

Comments:QBA I - Highly recommended!!!!!! Take Kay if u need to take QBA I!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-05-07

Comments:QBA 2302 - She's awesome! She does more than just teach the material but she also cares about her students. If you go talk to her during her office hours she is more than happy to help as long as you have a good reason to be there. The material isn't too difficult and she makes it even easier. If you zone out during class, don't worry. You can look over the examples and optional assignments and compare it to the solutions she posts on blackboard. Thats how I learned the majority of the material. There are about 5 quizzes and she drops the lowest one. 4 tests which in my opinion are easier than the quizzes. She gives you a formula sheet for the tests and you mostly just choose the correct number and plug it into the given equation to get the answer. I usually studied for about 2hrs before each test. I could have an A but I didn't learn all this until after the 1st test. Also done miss class more than 3 times. She will drop your lowest test and replace it with the final if you keep your absences below 3. Take her, she's a great teacher and an even better person.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2015-05-06

Comments:QBA 2302 - Dr. Kay's class required some additional effort but ultimately was very easy. Like one of the reviews below mine stated, it is incredibly easy to catch up if you are behind in her class and that holds very true. Part of the course was understanding how to use MegaStat (a Microsoft Excel Add-on that produces statistics), but she never tests students on it. I'm not tech savvy and I found it to be easy to use. She gives you the output on the exams, which are all multiple-choice. All formulas are also provided on exams. Also, all the assignments are all optional. The quizzes are a bit more challenging, but she takes 5 out of the 6 quizzes and occasionally makes one or two of them "group-quizzes" to help boost students' grades. I recommend remembering to bring the examples to class and you'll do just fine!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2014-12-15

Comments:2302 - She's so hot. When she writes on the chalkboard, her booty giggles :). I had it at 8AM, so it was a little difficult for me. She's so hot, so y'all should take her; total MILF. The class is not hard, just don't take it at 8AM. Also, participate in class for the first 3 weeks, she'll toss out 5 extra points on quizzes.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2014-08-05

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay is a great professor. She makes sure the students understand the material. There is no required homework for the class, however if you don't do the homework, definitely attend the class. The only reason I got a B was because I missed one too many absences to let my lowest test grade be replaced with my final grade. My lowest test grade was also an outlier as compared to the rest so it really dropped my grade. I would definitely take her for QBA.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2014-05-14

Comments:2302 - QBA is not a very difficult class, and I think Dr. Kay understands that. She quickly covers material on the chalk board and would often times end class a little early. I often did not pay attention, however I found it incredibly easy to catch up after class and be ready come test time. The assignments and examples are extremely helpful for her tests and quizzes. Do those the night before and you should be good. Dr. Kay also allowed us to do some group work for quizzes, which helped save many grades. Start studying early for the final however, you'll most likely find that you did not retain all of the things taught in the beginning of the semester.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2013-12-17

Comments:2302 - Mrs. Kay is incredibly nice. She wants to see you succeed. The material can get involved but if you write down everything she does on the board and study before the test there is no reason you should not get an A. P.S. Cheryl Kay is HOT.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2013-11-14

Comments:2302 - Mrs. Kay's class is not easy. AND she has this fantastic booty. It makes it so hard to concentrate!! The struggle was real. If you pay attention and take copious notes, you should be fine. ooh-- mrs. kay she so fine.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2013-11-08

Comments:2302 - Mrs. Kay was an interesting teacher. You can tell she is truly interested in QBA, but I felt like she was a little abrasive at times towards the students. Her quizzes were hard, but the tests weren't too bad. Take notes in class and make sure they're thorough. Go over those notes for a couple of hours the night before the test, and you'll be golden. I should've studied more and taken better notes to make an A. Overall, she's not too bad. Take her if you can.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2013-06-25

Comments:QBA I - I don't believe that anyone gets through a Baylor QBA course and has learned anything. With that being said, I didn't study more than 10 minutes for each test and still managed a B+. The quizzes are actually more challenging than the tests are because they're fill in the blanK and worK out problems, but the tests are all multiple choice. She gives formula sheets with all the answers for each test.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2013-04-12

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay is an excellent teacher. Anyone can succeed in her class. She lays out all the material perfectly. You have 4 or 5 quizzes and she drops the lowest. You have 4 test and a final, which if it helps you she replaces your lowest test grade with. She gives you homework that is optional, but is beneficial to do so you can ask questions if you don't understand something. (even the megastat helps, bc she does ask questions on the test about the results so you have to know how to read it. Before every quiz and test she reviews you! She is amazing! TAKE HER!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2013-04-11

Comments:2302 - Pretty good teacher. Explains things clearly but my only complaint is she doesn't lay it out step by step when she could and it would make things a little easier. There is megastat homework but I suggest you don't do it. The you will never be tested over the megastat homework so it's pretty much a waste of time. Do print out the examples though because it's nice to have them in front of you when you do notes in class. Overall not a bad class I just should've studied more than I did.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2012-11-16

Comments:QBA I - Professor Kay is a very sweet lady. She is very consistent with her tests and quizzes: DO the homework problems before you take the test/quiz. The problems will basically come straight from the homework. I never once opened the massive (and expensive) textbook, so do not waste your time or money. It is simply not necessary for the class; she will give you everything you need to know during lecture. The first couple weeks of class can be a little hard to follow, but just stick with her and learn the terms she gives you and you will be fine with little to no effort.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2012-04-11

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay was a pretty good teacher. It is not as easy as expected but not many classes are. You don't have to put a ton of work into the class but you still have to study some for the quizzes and tests because she will through some trick questions on the tests. The lectures were pretty much the same as the book and the homework was optional. She has office hours but it was hard to catch her outside of them since I had class during her assigned times.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2012-01-08

Comments:2303 - Easy. Optional homework. She has a few tricky quiz questions, but if you pay attention then you'll be fine. Take good notes and you have nothing to worry about. Also, show up to class so that you can use the final to replace your lowest test grade!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2012-01-07

Comments:2302 - I do not know what all the hype about this teacher was about... her class was alwasy boring and to be honest, she wasn't very helpful, nor was her class as easy as people made it out to be. I mean, it wasn't the hardest class, and she does replace your lowest test grade with your final grade (assuming its higher), which helped a little bit. But honestly, i enjoyed ACC more.. at least the material isn't as dry.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2011-12-19

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay has taught this class forever, so she knows the material inside and out. She outlines the concept, goes through an example or two, highlights the important parts and moves on to the next concept. She's efficient and thorough. How to succeed in this class: show up to class, take notes, attempt the homework sometime before the tests, rinse and repeat, collect your A after the final. There is no reason not to get an A in the class. She goes through everything you have to know, gives you homework that you don't have to turn in (but it's helpful test practice) and grades very fairly. She'll swap your lowest test grade with your final if you have less than 3 absences and she drops 2 of the 6 or 7 quizzes (that are usually really easy and 2 or 3 of them were group quizzes). Take her and make the A that you want.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-12-19

Comments:2302 - This class was not easy as I thought it would be. You actually really have to study for her tests because she has some very tough questions on the test. She's a good teacher but she literally just reads the book to us in class so I never really payed attention and just read the book after. The workload is pretty low. There is homework every class period and the answers are on blackboard to check yourself. There are 5 total exams including the final. 6 quizzes which 2 she dropped. She is good but not as great as they. However, she is one smoking hott teacher.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-12-13

Comments:2302 - Kay was absolutely a great teacher. She was very excited about what she was teaching, and that's saying something at 8 am. The tests are almost the same as all hand outs and practice exams. Just study the night before tests/quizzes and you'll do fine.   - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-12-11

Comments:QBA I - She's a great teacher. Knows what she's talking about, but it gets kind of easy to zone out during class. Tests are EXACTLY like every handout in class and homework.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-11-15

Comments:QBA 2302 - Easiest teacher ever. I cant say it any simpler than TAKE CHERYL KAY!!!! She is so nice and sooo easy. Drops 2 quizzes and does grade HW, its just to help you out.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-04-25

Comments:QBA 1 - Easiest prof you can take for QBA 1. The class is boring but she's pretty attractive so it's easy to pay attention. Final is optional. Definately the best choice  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-01-12

Comments:2302 - Take advantage of doing well on your tests because the final is optional, only if you want to replace a low test grade. The quizzes are easy and she drops your lowest 2. The homework is not graded but do it and the reviews for your tests and you will be fine. Great professor!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-12-17

Comments:2302 - BEST TEACHER BY FAR! Mrs. Kay is so sweet and has the cutest souther accent. She teaches very well and is always willing to answer questions. The final is optional and will replace your lowest test grade if you choose to take it. She also drops your lowest 2 or 3 Quizzes out of only 6. She gives a review for every test and if you study those and the handouts you should do great! TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-12-16

Comments:2302 - LOVED this class! Your grade consists of about 10 quizzes, 5 exams, and a final. There are quite a few homework assignments, but they are not a grade and simply for your own practice. Do the homework though or at least look over it... the questions are just like the quizzes and exams. This class is seriously the easiest ever as long as you pay attention in class and take good notes. Look over the notes and homework before a quiz or exam and you should be fine. Definitely an easy A (:  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-12-02

Comments:2302 - Nothing much to say, but TAKE HER. She taught the material well without swarming us with hours of homework every week. Her tests were straightforward if you went to class. She drops your lowest test grade. Homework is on My Stat Lab which is for a grade. (Waste of $70) The written homework is optional but is just like the exams. Do the written homework at least the night before you will be fine.   - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-05-09

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay is amazing. Her positive attitude and high energy in the mornings makes her a really great professor. She's more helpful than many of the professors I know because she wants you to be able to take something away from the class and use it in the real world. Her tests are pretty easy as long as you do the review on blackboard. It's almost always exactly like it. Also, she gives formula sheets, drops the 2 lowest quiz grades, and gives an optional final to replace your lowest test grade. She really wants you to pass, and is more than willing to give you all the help you ask for. I recommend taking her, EVEN IF IT'S AN 8 AM! DO IT!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - The fact that I enjoyed my QBA class at 8am on TR says something about this lady. She's really pretty, and really upbeat even at 8am. She tries her best to make sure you really understand the material, and explain it really well. If you don't understand the concept in class then doing the online homework will be a pain, but struggling through it will really help when it comes to the test. She gives you a formula sheet for every test, so make sure you understand how to USE the formulas and don't focus on memorizing them. Take-home projects are really short and easy. She is a really, really good professor and I felt extremely prepared for 2305. Oh, and I failed a couple quizzes early on in the semester and still went into the final with a 95 average.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - Dr. Kay is a really nice lady, and grades pretty fairly. The homework isn't too bad, but she doesn't round grades. I got a 79 as a final average, and I never missed a single day of class and did all of the written assignments that we never had to turn in, and she still wouldn't round me up, even though I worked my butt off. I would still take her though if you want a fairly easy class with not a lot of work.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:2304 - Dr. Kay is a nice lady, teaches very quickly. Had to study for quizzes. I thought tests were easier than quizzes. I should have made and A, but I failed a quiz and made a D on the first test. Oh by the way, Kay is great eye candy.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:QBA 2304 - Dr. Kay is an excellent teacher especially for such a boring subject as QBA. You don't have to turn in homework for a grade so there is no time rush, but it is necessary to do the homework if you want to do well on the test. There are never any pop quizzes and she let our class take quizzes with a partner/group twice during the semester. Tests are very manageable. She gives you a review and if you can do the review, you will do well on the tests. Great teacher, easy A.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:QBA 2301 - She is a fairly good professor who knows what she is teaching. Classes are not that exciting, mostly multiple choice quizzes with a few problems. She posts reviews for each of her tests, overall I recommend her.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2008-12-17

Comments:2302 - She's really nice but this class is SO boring. She keeps you the whole class just to do a million examples of what youve learned. Her tests are pretty easy though and her quizzes are too and theres NO homework that you have to turn in. All in all, she's probably the best option for this required business course but the material is ridiculously lame.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - Definitely take Kay for QBA. Her tests are really really easy and she lets you out early a lot. If you have any questions in class, she is always more than willing to answer and thoroughly go over it to make sure you understand it. Humorous, attractive, and easy.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:QBA - Kay is awesome! She is so nice and tries to make the class as easy as possible. She let us take 2 group quizzes and she lets you bring a formula sheet into every quiz and test. I did not like this class but I really enjoyed Kay. Take her!!!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1301 - I thought I was going to do better in this class, since I had already taken QBA 2. She is a nice teacher and we class never last long, but for some reason the tests can be a little tricky! The great thing is you just have to turn in the homework on the day of the test (which isn't hard or a lot) and there is not a lot of studying you can really do!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2302 - i took her because she had good ratings but she was not a good professor, she canceled class a lot and always let us out early which would normally be a good thing except for she went REALLY FAST and put alot of material on the tests that we hadnt gone over.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:2305 - Kay is a good professor, i had her for both 2303 and 2305. however, if youre looking to make an A in qba, i suggest hulme. I made an a for 2302, but her test structure is terrible. I didn't have much time to study for a class like qba, and it was hard to make as on her test, since 40-50 percent of the test grade are 10 or so true or false questions. I remember one test the problems only counted about 4/10ths of the test grade, and the t/f were 60 percent, which is sort of strange for a stat class. Anyways, all of my friends that took Hulme didn't have a problem making an A, so I suggest him for both QBAs over Kay  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2305 - Cheryl Kay is a very intelligent woman and her lectures are very thorough. If you ever have any problem at all on your hw or the worksheets that she gives out, she is able to pinpoint exactly where you went wrong and how you can fix it. Her tests and quizzes weren't too bad either. Just study off of the practice exams that she gives in class, and study lecture notes of course.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:QBA 2302 - TAKE HER CLASS, easy on hw and explains very well. Her tests are similar to the hw and she gives you the hw answers. I learned a lot and understood it all, great class overall.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:qba 2302 - She counted a question wrong on a test where the answer was 10% and I wrote 1/10. What more can I say she's either a complete idiot or evil as hell; I can't really decide. Having a teacher who grades objective tests subjectively isn't just frustrating, its wrong. Sure she's attractive and probably the best teacher of this class but anyone who can look me in the eye and tell me why a correct answer is wrong is just like this class: a complete waste of money and time.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:2302 - Alike the other 20+ reviews here, theres little to say that hasn't been said abour Mrs. Kay. She is by far the best looking professor I've had or seen on campus, but that doesn't mean a thing when it comes to her class. As for homework, there are 12 labs, all easy and graded on just completion. She goes over/explains the labs in class before having you turn them in, so you can basically fill in or make corrections on them. As for the exams, she will post a review or give it to you in class. Study that and review the labs you turned in during that time and you will do fine. Her grading on the other hand sucks. She doesn't curve anything and your semester grade is exactually what you get (ex. 86.7). Most professors would round this to a B+, but she won't unless you have attended all her classes. To sum it up, take her class. If your a guy, you will pay attention and be more inclined to attend class. If this is helpful BUY MY BOOK. Ill toss in the completed labs and review materials for all the exams. (Jared_Taylor@baylor.edu)  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2302 - Mrs. Kay is a wonderful teacher. Her tests are easy (the average is always above an 80) and the homeworks are completion grade. She switches from short answer to multiple choice depending on the difficulty of the material so that her students will make higher grades. Her catch is that she won't take late homeworks and she won't round up to the next grade (ex. 87.5 doesn't round to 88). The only exception is if you miss 2 or fewer classes. Take Kay.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2302 - Cheryl is stared down by every guy in the class, she knows it too. Everyone said she is easy, she's really not, I think she made her tests a bit difficult and the exam review wasnt even a well enough review. I actually had to study hard for every test for a gay class like statistics... I heard Hulme's better, take the guy who wrote the book, it might be a better choice.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - I loved Dr. Kay! Her class is not easy, but as long as you pay attention in class and do the occasional lab, you'll do great. I actually learned stuff in her class that I will use in the future. She talks really fast so you have to listen, but that also means you get out early, she doesn't waste time. She is really nice and she actually knows what she's talking about. I highly recommmend her.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - Do southern accents, blonde hair, and sexy looks appeal to you? If so, take Dr. Kay. But seriously, Dr. Kay was so helpful. I got my flight screwed up for Spring Break and she let me take the test a week late. She gives 12 labs, which are graded on completion, so jot down a few #'s and you've got an A in homework. Be careful, material/tests get harder as you go. Other than that, Dr. K all the way. On a final note, I missed the first day of class and came in on wednesday thinking, crap, i got stuck in the front row. haha, was i wrong! ;-) (i.e. she likes to sit on the front desk alot)  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:2302 - oh Dr. Kay, what can i say? She is pretty dang easy. Just a word of caution, dont think you can sleep through the whole course; the beggining is a lot easier to than the end. many friends had A's and then were kicked down to B's. so just be careful. I missed two tests and she let me retake them, so that was cool. I guess she is attractive but she isnt a supermodel. she definitely a leader in the T.I.L.F. department though. take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:QBA - thank God for Dr.kay. she is not only very smart and a great teacher but she is also drop dead sexy which is a nice change for Baylor. trust me, take her for all ur QBA's and i speak not only to the guys but also to the girls because she has something for everyone. thanks for the memories  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:QBA 2302 - Dr. Kay is the best! She is a wonderful professor and knows her stuff. The assignments aren't hard, and she is not that strict on grading them. The tests aren't too hard, but be sure to study everything she teaches because she doesn't really teach anything that won't be on the test. I would have made an A if it wasn't for making dumb mistakes on the tests. Also, guys, the stories are true, she is very attractive. I wish she could teach all of the rest of my classes at Baylor.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:QBA 2302 - She is just SEXY, her tests aren't hard if you do the review, the labs are completion grades, and she takes attendance but it doesn't hurt your grade. I'd date her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2302 - Kay is a great professor. She is a good teacher and not really strict about taking role. She is understanding about problems you might have and very eager to work with you. It is evident that she wants her students to be successful! I highly recommend her! A great lady!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:QBA 2302 - She has a great teaching style, and she doesn't waste time like most professors. QBA is a stupid subject regardless of the teacher, but Kay is the best there is. Do the labs and practice exams, and you'll be fine.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:QBA II - Cheryl is my first, my last, my everything. She is the nicest and sweetest teacher I have had who always knows her material. No homework, no projects, just 10 quizzes that are easy, and three tests and a final. I would have made an A, but I had it at nine in the morning which hates.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:QBA 2302 - Easy labs (completion grade), easy exams, right to the point, and early release. This class was awesome. Schedule last on a day if you don't want to wait around campus. The boys will like her even more.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:QBA 2302 - They're right. The curriculum is ridiculous but Kay is probably the best available. The labs suck and @Risk is useless. If you know Excel you should do fine. 'Stacy's mom....'  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2302 - I liked this class; Mrs. Kay teaches on our level and makes the seemingly complicated class seem pretty easy. I am not good with computers, and good grades dont come easy for me, but I did well in this class and ususally enjoyed it.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:qba 2304 - Mrs. Kay is the hotest teacher ever she has this sexy southern draw that will make you pay-atention and its worth taking her class to whatch her write on the chaulk board (take the clas then you will see what I mean). and as for the matteral its a boring subject that she makes not so boring. Her test are not to bad she offers practice tests that are very simalar.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:K-A-Y is friendly, funny, and far exceeds my expectations. Great with class time - does not waste time with useless info. Make sure to do all the assignments - they arent hard anyway. BTW she is quite the attractive one. ;)

Comments:Kay is a great teacher and will help you with just about anything. Do the projects and labs and study the notes and you have it made in QBA.

Comments:She is a wonderful get to the point teacher. I recommend her for a not so hard class. Do the labs and practice tests and you're golden. Her tests are not bad at all. She lets you out early as well! :-)

Comments:QBA 2302 - The class curriculum for QBA 2302 is really sad no matter who you take. However, Kay made the class about as cool as it could possibly be. She is a great teacher, and she really cares about students. The workload is really light, and the tests are extremely easy as long as you pay attention in class at all. We also typically get out really early, which is a plus in a class that is required yet pointless. If you have to take Q-B-A, go with K-A-Y.
