Comments:1304 - she was a horrible teacher. i had her at 8 in the morning... not the best time to take your least favorite class. her teaching methods just weren't that effective. she has "checkpoints" for your essays and papers, which helps a little with keeping on time and on track, but mandatory meetings to discuss your paper was very inconvenient.   - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1304 - She is a very nice person and really likes what she's doing, she just isn't very good at it yet. I got the exact same grade on every paper, even though I kept asking her what I was doing wrong. she is vague about her expectations for the papers.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1304 - first of all i dont like english and i suck at it, my philosophy is i can speak and write properly so why take the class? neways it is mandatory so here is the deal... she is a grad student and not a very good "professor". she makes you turn in work every step of the way when you are writing papers. she is unclear when it comes to taking about assignments. i didnt learn very much in that class. avoid taking her if you can! if you have to take her then dont take it at 8 am.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1302 - My experience with Ms. Crouse was so awful. I liked her as a person, but her negative attributes really outweighed her sometimes kind demeanor. She repeatedly gave me the same grades, even after I went to her numerous times for help. The class was very boring, and I am a person who has a long attention span. The pop quizzes came if she was upset with the way the class had not been participating. I kind of understand that. However, I did not agree with having to write more than the 6 required papers. It was just absolutely horrible. I could never figure out what she wanted. I felt so lost. She is a hard grader. You will work your butt off in this class.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1302 - She is a very nice lady and really cares about her teaching. This is obvious by how she takes the time out her day to have conferences with you. Her class is not easy, I met with her and discussed every paper and also had them all proof read at the writing lab and still got a b+. You better do all the readings she assigns or else she will start giving quizzes which are not fun. All in all I would take her again.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1304 - she's very helpful and friendly to you, but only if you take her assignments seriously. tends to get angry if no one in the class answers her questions or does their assignment. rarely cancels class. if you're looking for an easy ENG 1304 class, don't take her!  - Grade In Class:A
