Comments:Eng 1302 - Mr. Getz is a nice guy but this class is just horrible. We had a total of like 4 assignments that he never returned, and he didn't give grades back until the end so you have no idea what you're going to get. Going to class was a joke- we stayed for about 30 minutes and I don't think we ever had a discussion involving english. If you don't care about your grade and want a blow off class that you never have to attend, take Getz. If you want a good grade, don't take him.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1302 - He didn't give papers back until the end, which makes it hard to improve your grade since you don't know what you have. He's nice though; he's just not very organized.   - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1302 - Mr. Getz is an overall nice guy but a fairly bad professor. He takes FOREVER to return papers to you and isn't always the fairest of graders. He does write helpful comments on your essays when he returns them to you but the problem is you don't get them back in time to make the correction he suggested before turning one or two or sometimes three more essays. He makes it very hard to know where you stnad in the course so there is basically no room to improve on your grade before the end of the course because you simply have NO idea what it even is. Oh, and the online journals are a joke, he never even graded them even though they take a bit of time for the student to complete. Try not to take him if you can.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:ENG 1302 - He is very easing and loves to teach, which makes English a much easier class to take. The only thing is that he takes his time when grading your papers. However, he lets you know how you need to improve. He is a very fun teacher!   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Professor Getz is very helpful, makes class interesting, and is very knowledgable of the subject matter. The workload is not too heavy but not too light as well. Not recommended for any hardcore English freaks but a good class if you want to learn but also not have such a tough class.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1304 - Mr. Getz is a real nice guy, he trys to involve many of the students in what's being discussed. Things that weren't explaned clearly he quickly fixed. Easy teacher for these basic classes, we got nearly all our papers due dates extended and we only took two of the online journals for a grade, one of them i know was just a completion grade.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1304 - The absolute WORST teacher I've had so far. A graduate student who obviously does not care about teaching. For a grown man he needs to show more responsibility! NOT HELPFUL!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1302 - Cool guy, but we did absolutely nothing in the class. I guess a good professor if you are looking just go get by with hardly any work. otherwise, stay away.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1302 - He's a really great guy. I really enjoyed him becaused he is very very understanding and relaxed about everything. Also, his humor makes the class not as boring. I think he grades pretty easy compared to other profs that i hear about......i've gotten A's and B's on all of my essays. I would definitely definitely recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1304 - You could skip almost every day of class and it wouldn't matter. You don't do anything ever in his class but just talk and write a few papers. I really suck at writing so I didnt all that great but I had fun doin it. He doesn't tell you what you did wrong on your papers so you wont get anything out of the class but if you just want an easy way by he is a good way to go.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:1304 - Not a bad class if you are NOT an english major. He rarely takes attendance, which is nice. There's only one major paper with a couple of short ones. He assigns these readings (sometimes) and we discuss, but only half our class was involved. Boring and a waste of time but easy class if you looking to just get by.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1304 - only one major paper with a few smaller assignments. hardly EVER takes attendance and in class you discuss these short stories that you don't even have to read. kind of critical on the grading though. you have to be a decent writer to get a good grade, but it's an easy one.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1301 - This guy is crazy- he's a grad student who thinks way too much about life. You're assigned to read short stories and discuss them in class, but your only grades come from your papers. You only turn in one draft, so you don't know what he wants from you. I thought I was writing really good papers and I got B- on all of them. Homework isn't bad, but you better be a really good writer coming into this class if you want a good grade.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1302 - Awesome teacher.. doesnt teach all that much but is a relatable guy. Had him for a hour and a half and we were never there for more then a hour but maybe once. All you had to do was turn in your essays and you did fine. He rarely remembered to take attendance.  - Grade In Class:A
