*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:Speech - Dude this guy is cool take the class. Middle of the road in terms of difficulty and work and stuff, but you can for sure do much worse, hes a safe bet. (Was a Kot in the nineties, but that won't help you guys any, I tried) - Grade In Class:B
Comments:CSS 3304 - Geez - that sounds like the typical bitter-BU girl that can't find a guy because of the stick up her rear; don't listen to her - Jed was by far the best teacher I've had so far and I actually learned a lot. MY SMALL GROUP RULED! - Grade In Class:B
Comments:3304 - RUN!!! Liberal. NOT Baylor material. Fearless concerning comments towards students. Harsh sarcasm galore and rough around the edges. Sure he's witty...but HIGHLY offensive! If you're a Speech Comm major and used to AMAZING professors like Browning and Morman, I'd get another prof. If you're a hard core kindof person and willing to totally defend anything you disagree with him about - TAKE IT. Lots of "rough around the edges/CRITICAL" guys liked the class. Sure I got an A+ in the class, but it wasn't worth it because of his views, lack of communication, and lack of respect towards students. Doesn't practice what he teaches - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3304 - My favorite class yet @ Baylor--it was the first 8am class I actually looked forward to going to. He is very entertaining and makes everything he teaches real practical. Just read the book..quizes every week--if you do well on those, you should do fine in his class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3304 - I love this class! This is by far my favorite class at Baylor. He is very entertaining, every class he brings something new to keep you interested. Quizzes and tests are easy, and the group project is not that bad either. He is cute in a nerdy way, and he has a great sense of humor! I suggest you take this class if you can. He's a Baylor grad from a few years back so he knows how to relate. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3304 - Jed. This guy teaches exactly the way I would if I were a prof, my favorite class at Baylor so far. Very light workload, and meaningful discussion in class. He's smart and he knows it, so he loves to give a litmus test of your knowledge of current events and American history. Sort of like Jay Leno, "jay-walking" type quizzes. Bottom line, this is a 28 year old PhD student who has very interesting class discussions and gives very little work. TAKE THIS CLASS, HAVE FUN, AND MAKE AN A. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Small group - This guy is awesome! Seriously, get in this class if at all possible. He is a Baylor alumni and super cool- It is not a blow off class so make sure you are not absent- attend class and you will get a good grade! He really relates with everyone and is hilarious, def. a teacher that makes class worth your time! - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:3304 - I found Jed to be a funny, likeable teacher. A lot of your grade is based on participation so it is recommended that you show up for every class and that you speak up. The notes that he gives during class don't help too much, I found them to be really spacy and not easy to follow. There is a novel assigned to be read, read it! He gives a written test over it and you have to know lots of details. A tip for the project, be really creative and do something no one's ever done! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Sm Grp Comm - Professor Stephens is awesome. He is fun and you learn alot from him. He is terrific and I recommend that you take him! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3304 - Jed is a nice guy...if you pay attention you will also learn something...The secret to making the A is to go to all the classes....he was pissed because an average of 60% of the class wasn't there last semester....I would not miss a class, assuring you a good grade - Grade In Class:A
Comments:3304 - Hilarious in the classroom, but tests are very specific. You better know every single thing in each chapter you're being tested over. Weekly quizzes, chances for extra credit, likes critizing students on how little history and current events they know. End of semester group project that is left largely open-ended. If you're creative, you'll love it. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:3306 - I never really knew where I stood with this guy, but in the end, he is very fair. Workload is super light and he gives chances for extra credit. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:???? - Jed is the man. Knows what he is talking about and knows how to have fun at the same time. Highly recc. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Speech for Buisness - Awesome AWESOME teacher, very good teacher and very very hilarious at the same time. He teaches you the best principles for public speaking. Take Him or fail. - Grade In Class:A
