*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:3301 - Hibbs is the epitome of tenured. The man is nice enough, and when he speaks he clearly has a passion for the subject, but he lacks any real interest in the class itself. He is prone to missing class for any reason, whether that be allowing a TA to teach the class for him while he's gone to a dinner, or leaving the classroom regularly for half an hour to talk with whoever he finds in the hallway. The grades on the three total exams will remain almost exactly the same, with canvas showing the exact same low and high and a mean with maybe a tenth of a difference from test to test. There is little work at all, but if you do not make a satisfactory grade on the first essay test then I'd suggest either talking to him immediately or dropping out, as it will not change from effort alone. Realistically, you will only receive any kind of feedback on the first exam, and this will be essentially worthless as it will not allow you to improve your future grades. Your grade is set from the get-go, and you will lose interest in the class from the lack of instructor attendance or control you have over your scores. - Grade In Class:B

You can learn everything you need to in class and the reading just helps you understand a little better. He seems to switch up what he wants, but we had three essays and one in-person test. He gives extra credit at the end of the semester as well so don't fret too much about the grade. He loves to engage with students, answer questions, and he truly loves what he does! He's also kind of famous... look him up on Wikipedia! - Grade In Class:A

What a humble man. He helped me understand Philosophy when I thought it was boring. Easy workload as I believed there are just two papers and two exams each of which he tells you the questions in advance and helps you prepare for them, 100% recommend. - Grade In Class:A
