Comments:1310 - Pretty chill class and a nice professor. This is a writing class, so we had to write 3 essays, but overall pretty easy and he gave great feedback.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Really great teacher who is super kind and genuinely is willing to help in any way possible. Has deadlines to help you not cram your essay, which is annoying in theory, but actually helpful in practice. Definitely take him, pretty easy grader and really enjoyable class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG 1310 - This guy is a TOP G. TAKE HIM! literally one of the best professors I have ever taken. Hicks truly cares about his students and the class is really engaging and fun.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG 1310 - This guy is one of the best professors I have at Baylor. He is super nice and truly wants to help his students do better. He grades pretty easily on the essays and all the homework is essentially participation or I at least got a 100 on every single one. There is an "assignment" due before every class but in all honesty they will usually take you 5 minutes most of the time like 20 min max. He is extremely helpful and is always willing to answer questions. He is also a student himself so he understands the stress of that so his due dates are the most reasonable things on the planet. My only complaint is that he does grade pretty slow but it does not really matter since you probably got an A on every assignment. I would recommend setting up a meeting with him a couple days before your essays are due to just go over it and he will point out any big things that are wrong with it, I did this and I got a 97 on my first essay but like I said he grades slow so I have not gotten the second one back yet and I turned it in a month ago but I am not worried at all. His grading will probably become quicker when he is no longer a student himself but I don't know when that will be. The first essay the lowest grade in the class was a 74 but the average was like an 87 so he grades pretty easy, just do some check-ins with him on your essay and you will be chilling in this class, I do very little work and have a 99%. Overall I promise you if you take this guy you will not regret it. If he is available when you register take his class no matter what time it is at you will not regret it. Also he will let you revise and resubmit one of the first two essays to get a better grade on it, all you have to do is show that you made revisions and he bumps up your score.  - Grade In Class:A
