Comments:1301 Lab - Mme Cornish is so sweet! I had her for the lab and wish I had her for the lecture class, because she is so good. I've learned a lot from her. She does give a lot of little assignments in class, but it evens your grade out. The class is all in French, which can seem intimidating, but not with her. She is so patient and helpful. I can't reccommend anyone more!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1301 - I don't have a single bad thing to say about Mme Cornish (I believe she just got married and changed her name). She's gentle and patient and so funny! Her class consists of lots of little assignments, which is super helpful in the end because they even each other out. There's homework and a quiz every class day, but she drops some and the consistency is nice, plus it helps hold you accountable. I think each chapter exam only ends up being like 2-3% of your final grade, so you can't ruin your grade with one bad assignment, and no singular thing should be too stressful. I genuinely looked forward to her class, the way it's set up made us all kind of get to know each other which was fun. But even better than her class policies is the fact that she's just such a good person. I have yet to find another professor at Baylor who makes it so obvious that they care about each student personally. She makes everyone feel so loved and her presence warms up any room she's in. I seriously could not recommend her more!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1301/1302 lab - Lab is usually some writing assignment that she will almost always give a 10/10 on. She is really understanding and really funny! There is an oral exam portion and a final presentation at the end of the semester, but they are not hard.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3302 - I absolutely loved this class and loved Mme Owen. Granted, this is a conversational class that we had on zoom, and I speak French. However, she was always so willing to help students, so wanting people to participate, love the language, love the culture, etc. If you get the chance to take this class, I highly recommend it. Mme Owen is a gem.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Mme Owen has been amazing. She has been so thoughtful about keeping class interesting online in both format, which is no joke with summer hours. She has been really nice if you have questions or need extra practice on certain topics. I though the pace has been really manageable regarding how much we have to know and how quickly she wants us to learn it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:FRE 1301 - Madame Owen is one of the best professors I have had at Baylor across all the departments I have had classes in! She truly aims to inspire her students to develop a love for the French language as well as its culture. After taking her class, I gained so much confidence in my ability to communicate through the French language and I simply adore french all the more. She is extremely knowledgeable and loves French Literature. Every time I had a question, I felt comfortable asking Mme Owen during class and via email. She also has great office hour times and the test reviews she makes are indeed helpful for the chapter exams. There is a lot of homework, however, this is a blessing because their weight can level out a bad exam. Mme Owen is a truly caring, insightful, and inspirational professor that I would 100% recommend taking.   - Grade In Class:A
