*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:PSC 1387 - Class was more of a discussion time where we directly read from the APR book and then talked about it compared to straight lecture slides. The book is definitely required for the class. We had online quizzes each Thursday that are quick 5 minute 1 short answer or like 3 multiple choice questions. The big issue with this class is the two 6-8 page papers. For an intro political science class, that's a little too much compared to the other classes for PSC 1387. Plus, the exam is pretty much all short or long answer questions (around 30 questions). Even though the workload was a lot, she graded very nicely and wasn't strict. She is very soft spoken, and cares about the students. The class is fine, just don't be upset with having to write long papers for an intro political science class - Grade In Class:A
Comments:PSC 1387 - She is very soft spoken in class, but very nice and loves class discussion. The work is not necessarily hard, but the reading can be a bit much if you do it all. She is very open to constructive criticism and I know she really wants to be helpful to the students. I would recommend her as a solid teacher whose class is very discussion based and is very open herself to feedback from her students. - Grade In Class:B+
