Comments:1306 - Great proffesor easy to listen too and not boring. She's very nice and knowledgeable. No assignments just exams and a museum activity. There are daily attendance quizzes but they are for participation (write down or take pics of the quiz questions its what will be on the exam). Exams aren't too hard recommend her strongly. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:GEO 3435 - Dr. Petsios was a great professor. I took the class online due to the pandemic, so the class and lab was online/in-person (your choice). She was very qualified, friendly, and made the class a very pleasant experience. There were weekly quizzes over course material from the week, but the quizzes were just done on canvas and there was no time limit. Similarly for the exams, they were not proctored and the questions were mostly made up of previous weekly quizzes. There was no homework, but the class involves a lot of memorization due to the nature of the class. The lab was kind of a weird experience due to it being online and it being run by a TA, but they were fairly time consuming and they were the only thing I disliked about the class. The labs asked for information that was sometimes simply not provided in the lab material, which greatly slowed down the speed in which I was able to complete the lab work. That aside, I'd 100% recommend Dr. Petsios for Invertebrate Paleontology. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:GEO 1306 - Dr. Petsios is so nice! She is very smart and interesting and always willing to help you if you need help. The class is powerpoint based and the test is very straightforward. As long as you go to class and take notes, you should be good. She has quizzes throughout the semester, which are unannounced so make sure you always go to class. - Grade In Class:B+
