Comments:3309 - Super helpful teacher that genuinely cares about her students. Went into this class kind of worried about all the reading and writing we would have to do but she makes it super manageable and treats it like a gen ed English course everyone is required to take. We had one to two reading Journals due a day which are super short, then we had a midterm which if you have a basic understanding of the readings we read for class (which you will unless you skip class everyday) is super easy. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Ms. Tharp is literally the best professor you could have for English. She is the kindest professor I've had at Baylor thus far. Her class was so easy but she also challenged us to go out of our comfort zones. She even baked us cookies since our class theme was Foodways. She is always available to us students and really cares about all of us. I love Ms. Tharp and wouldn't recommend any other professor for 1310. Please take Ms. Tharp, you won't regret it!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1304 - Mrs. Tharp is a great professor! She was always very helpful and made required writing conferences worth the time taken out of our schedules. I was intimidated by the 10 page research paper from the moment I saw it on the syllabus, but she broke it down with certain deadlines for each part- making it very doable. Comments:1304 - Ms. Tharp is so sweet and accommodating! I was really sick this semester and she was always so understanding and made sure I was caught up and had a fair amount of time to make up assignments. I was really nervous about the research essay but she met with students twice (and canceled class for meetings, so thats a plus) to check in and review it for us. Overall such a sweet prof and a very easy class!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1304 - Ms.Tharp is the best! She truly cares about her students and takes time to get to know them. She mostly lets students take control on what they want to write so that things can be enjoyable throughout the course. Highly recommend taking her for English 1304!  - Grade In Class:A
