Comments:CFS 4363 - Not the best teacher. It's the end of the semester and she's barely graded anything. She still hasn't graded assignments from the beginning of the semester which is scary because I don't know if I'm doing the assignments correctly or not. This course isn't too hard. It's a lot of busy work. She uploads lectures every week, but they honestly aren't very helpful. She literally just reads sentences from the textbook, which you will need for all your assignments. She makes you write lots of papers. Honestly, this class wasn't too bad. It was just frustrating that she hasn't graded anything. She also assigned us a 5 page paper the week of finals and sent out the instructions on how to write it less than a week from the due date.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:CFS 2355 - This class is super easy and fun!! Dr. Jones is a great professor and while she is a little unorganized, you have to keep in mind this is not her only job like most professors. the lab for the class is beyond annoying and really unnecessary, but its easy and if you put in any effort at all you will get an A in the class. Mrs. Jones makes the class as interesting as she can, and it really is fun if you put in the tiniest bit of effort.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2355 - Jones is hands down the worst professor I have ever had. And ive had a lot of awful professors. It is obvious she doesn't know what she is doing, so she tries to compensate by making the assignments tedious and hard to get full credit for. She is always frazzled and rude to students, and does not care to help anyone when they have questions or problems. If you can avoid taking her, don't take her.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2355 - First I want to point out that the negative comments here are by students who got an A in Professor Jones' class. Concerning her availability, yes she is very busy, but I never sent her an email that I didn't get a response to within 48 hours. The best time to ask her questions is after class. And teaching yourself, this is college, if you need someone to hold your hand then go back to high school. I am a Communication Sciences & Disorders major, and I've learned a lot, but I have never, in my entire life, learned more from anyone than Professor Jones. She put life, poverty, and the differences in race, in an entire new and humbled perspective for me, in a way that changed my own life. Any opportunity you get to take her class, do it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2355 - This class was very enjoyable. If you have a heart for kids, you will get A LOT out of this class. THERE ARE LABS AT PIPER- I didn't know this when I registered for this class so having to fit those 2 hour labs in were a pain but they were so much fun. Professor Jones is VERY knowledgeable about what she teaches and her tests are super easy. This was one of my favorite classes.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2355 Child Development - No. Just no. I got Jones halfway through the semester since my original professor up and moved to Colorado. She came into class and straight up told us, " hey, so I have 3 jobs and already teach classes here and at Tarleton, so I don't really have time for you." And boy, was she right. She literally didn't grade a thing from spring break to the last day of class. She blamed it all on canvas troubles, but in reality she just hadn't graded anything. But back to the actual class - its easy. Seriously. Its an FCS class, you'll be fine. No reading necessary - though you do need books for lab reports and little assignments that require citing the book. 4 or 5 tests, all MC, all easy. There are power points online and study guides. literally could not be any easier. The annoying part of that class was the Labs at Piper and a field school. Making that fit into your week is a pain in the butt for sure. But, still easy in the long run. So, in conclusion, easy class, so so easy. But annoying. Jones doesn't have time for you or your assignments of questions, so take another professor if possible.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2355 - I would recommend to not take her at all. She doesn't have any time for the students when they are in need. since she has like 4 jobs, the class is not her priority. she wastes a lot of time in class talking about pointless things. this was a self taught class when she was my professor, you have to do your own reading and learn it yourself.   - Grade In Class:A
