*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is a very easy professor, very little stuff to do. Sometimes he makes fun of people who use the Bible as a guide for life, and he does not seem to think they are any different from fundamentalists. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - I loved this professor. He doesn't have a lot of work he gives you like other professors. All it is a quiz before class each day and they were over the book for class. His test at all multiple choice and come straight from the lectures. Whatever he talked about in class that he talked a lot more about will be on the test. He is very understanding and cares about his students. One thing that he does that most of my professors don't do is engage with the class. He tries to make sure you are listening. I highly recommend taking his class for Christian Scriptures. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Scriptures - I HIGHLY recommend taking this prof. I failed 2 tests & STILL ended up with a B+ in his class. Offers extra credit as well. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1350 - Dr. Reich is an amazing teacher. Not only can he teach, but he looked snazy everyday in his suspenders and bow tie. As for the class, he makes it really interesting, not too hard, and if I would have worked a little harder, I could have gotten an A, but I'm glad that he was the one who gave me my first non A because his class was that informative. It is a shame that he is leaving because I know many of my friends waiting to take heritage were excited about him, but he will do amazing in NC. Good luck Dr. Reich, you will be missed! - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:Rel 1350 - I took Dr. Reich for both Christian Scriptures and Christian Heritage, and he is a terrific professor! So much so that I took his 8 a.m. class! I really appreciate his passion and desire to truly have the students learn the material. He also is very careful to try to present the material objectively. That is, he does not coerce you into accepting something just because he believes it. I also loved the discussions in this class - everyone really had an opportunity to ask questions and voice his/her beliefs. Thank you Dr. Reich! I wish him the best at his new job! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Christian Scriptures - Very good teacher overall. Really energetic and loves what he is doing as a professor. Overall, try to get him at all costs, he's that awesome - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1359 - Really good teacher. Workload is not bad at all, you have two readings a week, the first is on an optional book, but he encourages the readings, the second is mandatory, you have a quiz the last class of the week on the readings. Yes, some of the assigned readings were long, but how can a teacher make a 10 question test off 3 pages of reading? He is funny, chill, and really nice. Such an enjoyment, I was never bored or like ugh get me out of here. I suggest him!! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Christian Scriptures - Dr. Reich is so amazing! His lectures are really interesting, which may seem uncommon for a Christian Scriptures class. He's really young too...one of the youngest in the department, so you can tell that he does this because he has a passion for it. He opens up to you a lot about his life, and is always open to any questions, even if they have nothing to do with the class at all. Since most of the people who take Scriptures are freshmen, he tries to offer advice and tips. Ask him about good restaurants in Waco if you're looking for holes-in-the-wall! He always showed us really interesting YouTube clips in class, and had a really great sense of humor...he was so funny! He has a reading quiz everyday, but he drops a couple of them, and they're really easy anyways. Make sure you have a Bible for this class, because you will need to bring it everyday. You don't need to buy that big Bible that's listed in the course though...he doesn't really care what translation/version/edition you have. Tests are pretty easy and he always gives review sessions before the test. I would literally study for the test about 2 hours in advance and usually got high Bs or As. He gives extra credit opportunities if you go to a religious lecture on or off campus. And he's open to any suggestions, so make sure you let him know if you find out about one. Oh, and he blogs a lot, and gives extra credit points if you comment on his blogs. And I think he'll give you up to three extra credits that you can earn...out of all the ones he provides. But yeah, take him if you can. He is really great! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Very helpful teacher, online quizes are easy, tests are pretty easy, make sure you define the harris terms and pay attention to lectures and you should get an A. Also offers plenty of EC opportunities. I didn't get an a simply because I tried to get by without studying for the first 2 tests. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is an amazing professor, the tests are a little tough, but as long as you go over your notes you will do fine. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:REL 1310 - Dr. Reich is an excellent religion professor. He is a good teacher and his test and quizes are a good measure of introductory religion. As long as you go to class and take notes you can do well on the exames. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - he is nice and i enjoy his class.....the only reason i got a c was because i forgot to take most of my quizzes to do your work and take notes on exactly all he says in class and you will be fine - Grade In Class:C+
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is an amazing teacher! It was often hard to figure out his opinion on some of the topics we discussed in class, but I enjoyed trying to figure out his perspective. He was good at giving different points of views on subjects, and I looked forward to coming to his class everyday. The quizzes were all online, (except for 2 pop quizzes in class)and the tests are of average difficulty if you study his lecture notes. Take Dr. Reich if you can! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is really one of a kind. He is a great professor and a very chill person. For a person who was not looking forward to taking this class at all, Dr. Reich made it a very interesting and easy class. The lectures sometimes get boring like in every class but he shows different views to everything and explains everything thoroughly. As long as you take notes and pay attention you'll easily make an A in the class. His quizzes are due before almost every class but they're online and you can use your book. So making 100's on the quizzes is almost guaranteed. The only reason i got a B is because i messes up on two tests and did not study for them. Or else i would've gotten an easy A. Got an A on the last test and on the final. REMEMBER! he does NOT bump up grades at all. I was 1 out of 600 from B+. However he does give easy extra credit for a total of 15 extra points. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!! you will not regret it. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:Rel 1310 - Dr. Reich is truly a great professor. Obviously, there are many ways of interpreting Scripture, and Dr. Reich presents different points of view without forcing one on you. I didn't always agree with his views, but he didn't try to convince me of them either. He is always willing to answer questions in class, and he makes the class discussions very interesting. If you stay on top of the readings, you should have no trouble in this class. If not, the quizzes are online (and thus open book), so it is still easy to get the necessary points. The tests are multiple choice and primarily over the lecture material, though some are from the readings. I would highly recommend Dr. Reich while he is still at Baylor - I expect he will be hired soon! I am planning to take him again next semester! (for Rel 1350) - Grade In Class:A
Comments:REL 1310 - Dr. Reich is a fantastic professor! One thing I was concerned about when I came to Baylor was how evangelical the professors would be here. Dr. Reich is everything I hoped for in a religion professor here, he followed his motif of "Education not Indoctrination" very well. He has a great sense of humor, made class interesting. His tests are 85% from his lecture and 15% from the textbook reading which isn't much to begin with, and all his quizzes are online. It was definitely the most interesting class I had this semester, and I'm a Biology major! Plain and simple, if you want a cool professor, take Dr. Reich. Just go to class and pay attention to what he is saying and you'll get a B at the least. I received an A in the class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Great professor! Put the Bible in layman's terms and presented it like a story. Told it like it is and made it really interesting. Quizzes are online and must be taken before each class, you can use your book. (This is really generous, compared to other teachers). Do the best you can on those, it'll boost your grade. Tests are 85% from his lectures, so take GOOD notes. If you want an A, read and study Harris, which I never did. Do extra credit ( I wish I had taken better advantage of this), it can really help your grade. Definitely recommend Dr. Reich, great professor to have. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1310 - Excellent teacher. Most of his exams comes from the lecture so make sure you take thorough notes. It's helps to read the books if you want to make an A but I never did. As long as you study and take good notes it's not hard to make a good grade in his class. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1310 - Easy teacher. the way to get an A: bring a laptop and take notes on his lecture (usually ppts). study the notes for the exam (85% of his exams are from the lecture)...the other 15% is from the reading (which i never did :P) online quizzes are easy (use your harris book to help you). DO EXTRA CREDIT. boosts ur grade a LOT! overall, excellent teacher. highly recommend. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is a good teacher and I would suggest taking him. You have an online quiz before each class and those can really be the difference between a B+ and A so try to get as much points as possible on them. It is possible to make a 100 on all of them because you are not timed and can use your book. You have to take notes because he does not post them on blackboard. His tests are not bad but there are some questions that can be tricky. He also gives 15 points of extra credit total so take advantage of that. Good Teacher! - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is so wonderful! He makes everything very clear. Sometimes the class was a little dull, but I think that was mostly because of the material. He made it as interesting as he could. He also gave youtube breaks which was always really fun! He doesn't post notes of blackboard, but I found that taking notes helped me pay attention easily. His tests are straight from what he says in the lectures. He is fair in grading, and it was overall a good experience! I had heard horror stories of religion ruining student's GPA's, but I had a great experience in this class! I would definitely recommend taking Dr. Reich if possible! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is a great teacher! He makes the class fun. He shows you a lot of youtube clicks. He is very funny and cracks jokes all the time. His tests are pretty easy if you study. Quizzes are online, so you can use your book. He has reviews before the test, and you can ask him questions. I never went to his office hours, but I'm sure he would be there. Great guy. I highly recommend him. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310.37 - Dr. Reich is a good teacher. Online quizzes that he gives are decent enough, nothing to complain about because there is no time limit and you can use your book. All of his tests are mainly lecture based and he is fair about the information that he puts on the test but if you don't pay attention during lectures you will not know everything you need to know on the test. He is a great guy and I would definitely suggest taking him to anyone. - Grade In Class:C
Comments:1310 - If you're looking for a professor who knows his material and teaches it well, I would definitely recommend taking Reich. His lectures are extremely informative and everything on his tests comes straight from his lectures and powerpoints. You really learn a lot from this guy. I never studied for his test until the day of the test, and I still averaged a 90 on tests. The only thing that brought my grade down were his "daily quizzes" that he posts online, because I forgot to take them like 4 or 5 times, so that gave me 4 or 5 zeros. But other than that, his class was easy and he really is a great teacher. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1310 - TAKE HIM. Dr. Reich is awesome! He teaches in a very unbiased way and he loves hearing from students. Class discussions happen just about every class. If you want a class where you will learn alot about the bible and want to be engaged in the discussion then take this professor. Grading is based on 600 points and to get an A you need 540 points and in order to get a B you need 480 points. There are 15 points of extra credit offered which just consist of going to three lectures throughout the semester. I honestly do not see how you CAN'T pull off a B (or even an A) in this class with just a hint of effort. 180 points are from online quizzes from two different books and they're easy with effort because they're not timed. You have one essay at the beginning of the semester that's one page and pretty easy worth 20 points. There are 3 tests worth 100 points each and one final exam which is also worth 100 points and is just like the other tests. The tests are 50 multiple questions: 43 questions from lecture only and 7 questions from readings. The 7 questions from reading are usually big concepts over the reading or vocab words. I attended all classes except for one and did all the extra credit and easily got an A. The final exam only has five comprehensive questions, but they're only big concepts that you should know. If you want an A and want to learn about christian scriptures then you should TAKE HIM. Also, he is rather personable and funny and likes taking youtube breaks to keep you from falling asleep. Hopefully, Dr. Reich won't be back next semester because he's looking for a full time job which he deserves, but if he is TAKE HIS CLASS. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is a great professor, he makes his expectations known at the beginning of the course and stays consistent. His tests are primarily from lecture, so attending class is very important. His lectures are very interesting, and he does a very good job of tying everything together which helps the big picture make more sense. Take Dr. Reich! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:REL 1350 - Dr. Reich is a HILARIOUS professor and an excellent teacher. But disregard the comments below about the easy tests and not having to study.. his tests are HARD!!! To make a good test grade you have to attend ALL lectures (43 questions from lecture, 7 from the book) and study a lot. He asks very detailed questions on the test. Someone who doesn't have to study for his tests must have A LOT of background in the scriptures. He gives up to 15 points extra credit. Summary: Take him if you have a lot of background in Christian Scriptures or attend class and study, don't take him if you have no background in Christian scriptures or don't attend class. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1310 - Dr Reich is a great professor and makes his lectures interesting. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1310 - Dr Reich was one of my favorite teachers my freshman year. He actually made the material interesting and the tests were super easy, my lowest test grade was a B- and i never studied for the tests all you have to do to pass is pay attention to the lectures - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is a great teacher!! He makes his lectures interesting and always has something insightful to say. His tests are straight from the lecture! He always talks about sports which is fun and he learned everyones name in the class! I really enjoyed his class and I highly recommend him! : ) - Grade In Class:A
Comments:REL 1310 - Dr. Reich is a great teacher. The class is not easy at all. He makes an effort to help you and is approachable. I had issues with the BG quizes opening up in Firefox browser and it cost me a lot of points. He allowed me to redo them, something no other professor would probably allow which saved my grade. I do not come from a religious back ground so this course was not easy for me, but he helped me quite a bit. - Grade In Class:C
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich is very approachable and will work with you if you cannot attend his office hours. I had trouble in his class for multiple reasons. He just lectures and there's not much interaction at all, then the test. Which didn't work so well for me, but it works for others. Reich is a good teacher and a great person. He is very intelligent and loves what he does. Since the class is freshman level, the homework is not a whole lot of work, and it is your perrogative as to whether or not you do it, but if you don't, you will suffer in class and on the tests. There are quizzes due every class period but there is no reason you cannot get 100% on every one. I would recommend Reich. - Grade In Class:C
Comments:1310 - Dr. Reich cracks jokes all the time in class and it's a very relaxed atmosphere, which makes it easier to concentrate for me. There is a quiz for just about every class, but it's online (meant to be done BEFORE you get to class) and he doesn't explicitly say it's open book, but you're allowed to use it. The quizzes are meant to help your grade, not hurt it, so they're not ridiculously hard. His tests are 85% based off lecture, and 15% based off the readings. They're always 50 multiple-choice questions, so only about 7 or 8 questions are from the textbooks. If you pay attention, take good notes, and study them well enough, you'll do fine on the exams. They're mainly memorization and understanding certain concepts. There is only one essay, and it's only a one- to two-page thing, which is pretty easy. I think Dr. Reich is a GREAT professor to take for Christian Scriptures. He's really objective about everything, and he'll consider all points of view. He doesn't just stick to his own beliefs, and I like not having to hear the same thing over and over in class. I thought I'd hate Religion, but it's ended up being one of my best classes. I definitely recommend it. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - I would really suggest taking Reich for Religion! We had a quiz every friday and there were a couple pop quizzes throughout the semester, but he drops 5-10 quizzes so people only read for the Friday quizzes. The tests were all multiple choice over the notes he gives in class. When I took him he did not post the notes on blackboard so you have to go to class or get the notes from someone if you miss. He gives A LOT of extra credit. You can get 15 points for attending 3 seminars(5 points each and writing a half a page double spaced or watching movies. there is an essay you can write that will average with your lowest test grade, and there is an optional comprehensive final that will replace your lowest test grade. Overall it is super easy to get an A!! He is awesome TAKE HIM!! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - everyone complains about how he doesn't bump grades, but if you don't receive the grade you want it is really your own fault, he overs more than enough extra credit opportunities. His test are fair the second and third are the hardest. He is a really good teacher and is easy to follow i like how he gives his opinion on subjects when asked, but somehow does it in an unbiased way great teacher and would take him again - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Take him if you can! He's a pretty fair teacher. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities. The tests are of average difficulty. The readings might be hard sometimes...it depends. Overall, a great course and a great instructor. Plus, he's really nice and wears suspenders! - Grade In Class:B
Comments:REL 1350 - Dr. Reich showed no bias in this class except towards the free will debate, which is understandable. I couldn't tell where he stood politically or religiously. I think he thoroughly explained the reading assignments in his lectures. The quizzes consist of a good mix of 10 questions, Multiple Guess. Anyway, I thought I failed the final section test, so I took the Optional Final to insure my grade, but I ended up doing fine! That was all the grace of God! haha - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - I liked Dr. Reich's class. Yes, it was boring at times but its not like most classes. He does lecture most of the time but he's always asking questions and letting the students get involved. There are 3 tests and a final. You have the opportunity of raising your grade on a test by writing an optional essay. You can also replace a test grade if you score higher on an optional final at the end of the semester. The only "homework" you'll have is reading for the class. He gives quizzes every friday over the readings and an occasional pop quiz. But he drops a good amount of them. Keeps only your best 10. He also lets you earn some extra credit along the way. Overall, the class was a pleasant experience. Your grade reflects the work you put in, basically. I'd recommend Dr. Reich. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1350 - Dr. Reich was a nice professor. However I would not recommend him. His lectures are very fast paced. He does not explain the material clearly, unless asked to further explain. He does not review for tests or give any suggestions. The final was the hardest part of his class. He gave a total 17 of quizzes, one every friday plus pop quizzes. If you are up for a challenge I would recommend him. - Grade In Class:C
Comments:Rel 1350 - I LOVED Professor (Now Dr.) Reich's class! I only took it because we all know that Baylor requires it; however, I learned sooo much from this class! It really challenged what I believed in and showed me that no one religion is right, and that as much as it changed in the past it will continue to change now and in the future. Dr. Reich's class was pretty simple. You have a syllabus with assigned readings and quizzes every Friday over the primary sources, and sometimes you will have pop quizzes. He only takes the 10 best quizzes, so the more quizzes the better! You have ample opportunity for extra credit: attending lectures, writing essays over certain movies, the optional comprehensive final (saved my bum when I slept through a test and got a 0 for it) and an optional essay. All of this extra credit can save your butt!!! I got an A in the class and I missed an exam. It's simple to get an A...just read the assigned reading, and study a few days before the test by studying the notes, and you're good. LOVED the class!!! Dr. Reich is awesome! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Mr. Reich is a great teacher!!!! He really made Heritage interesting, and since I'm not usually into Christian history, that was a feat. He gives quizzes every Friday over a reading, and he also gives pop quizzes, so be sure to keep up with the readings (which you have every day). Tests are multiple choice, and he gives a TON of extra credit oppurtunities, so it's not hard to do well in this class. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Reich is an excellent teacher with a great sense of humor. We had quizzes every Thursday; the tests were all multiple choice. The only essay was optional, to be averaged with the lowest test grade. He does not "bump" grades, but he also gives tons of extra credit opportunities, limiting you to three, I think. He makes his policies clear very early on. He is really good about getting students involved in discussion instead of straight lecture most of the time, which makes the class a whole lot more interesting. Tests were not easy, but not really hard and very fair, based on the lecture and readings. He's also careful not to demean particular denominations or beliefs. Take him if you can; he made Christian Heritage pretty fun. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - For those of you who count on getting an 89.5 and it rounding up to an A - REICH DOES NOT ROUND OR BUMP UP GRADES. If you get an 89.5, you're stuck with a B+. He makes it a doable class though, so honestly, whatever grade you make is pretty much your own fault. He drops a quiz grade or two, and gives an extra credit essay opportunity, has an extra exam to make-up for one you missed, AND offers an extra comprehensive exam given right after the final for extra credit. Thursdays were designated class discussion and quiz days (which aren't online anymore... I was in the first class that had to 'suffer' from actually taking them in-class), which made the hour and fifteen minutes go by much faster since it wasn't lecture from beginning to end. He's a really nice, funny guy, but he's not the most intelligent professor you'll ever have. He makes the class really enjoyable for what it is though. Work load isn't bad - I HATED Christian Scriptures (the first REL class) but Reich made me love this one. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Christian Heritage - He lectures but makes it a very discussion based class. So if you like talking and bouncing off ideas, this is a class for you. There's a quiz every week but they help your grade alot. I think he drops 2 as well. Tests arent easy but not impossible. If you listen in class and write down anything he says in addition to what's on the slides, you should be fine. Study notes and memorize everything; it's essentially a history course so memorization is key. I quite enjoyed this class because he made it interesting. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Good class. Do the reading and study your notes for the exams and you'll do fine. Professor Reich is very clear about what is most important to study he makes himself available if you have any questions. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1350 - Ok teacher but for some reason seemed intimidated by me. Maybe because I was older than him. Got a 69.4 in the class and couldn't even give me the extra 1oth of a point to round it up to a C. As a graduating senior this could hurt my law school chances now. Thanks Keith! - Grade In Class:D
Comments:1350 - Enjoyed going to class, the discussions were interesting and I didn't have to worry about my grade (though it was dependent on the amount of work put in). Fantastic teacher. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Mr. Reich is an awesome professor. He was very clear on each concept and was very open to questions asked by students. He showed absolutely no bias towards any ideology; he really stressed that it was to us to decide what we believe. He did a great job of just giving us the facts and letting us decide. It was more than just a class; I truly learned more than I ever expected. I really enjoyed going to every class. I always learned something new and my mind was always stretched to think about new possibilities. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - Great teacher. The tests wery mainly from the powerpoints. The readings suck because they are kind of hard to understand, but that isn't the teacher's fault. Tests were fairly straight forward. No written homework, just readings for the quizzes. Stay with reading for pop quizzes. Lots of extra credit that was very helpful. Fun teacher and social with the class :) He is also a good looking teacher so it may be hard to pay attention to the class all the time ;) - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - I hated the first semester of religion (1310?), but Reich makes this class enjoyable. He has a good sense of humor, engages the class, and his tests aren't hard. A few pop quizzes but they work to your advantage because he takes the top ten out of about 15... and usually you know when they're coming, so there really aren't any surprises. He doesn't grade bump at all, or even just round. If you make an 89.9, you have a B plus. He might curve the class, but don't count on it. He makes up for it by offering tons of extra credit though, including attending outside lectures and summarizing them, as well as an extra credit essay (3 pgs, averaged with your lowest test grade) and an optional comprehensive final at the end that could replace your lowest test grade. Basically, if you want an A, it's definitely doable. Take him! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - He relates well with students and keeps the lectures interesting (often with humor). As long as you do all the assigned reading thoroughly, the weekly quizzes aren't too bad. Tests are all multiple choice and are mainly over the lectures. Overall great professor. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Reich is a really nice guy, and his class is pretty easy if you put even a small amount of work into it. He relates to students well, and is very open to questions in class. Pretty funny too. But not very available outside of class, though. He's a grad student too. - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1310 - This class was so easy!!! I recommend him to everybody, but be aware that he does NOT grade bump but if you put even a tinge of effort your guaranteed at least a B!!! - Grade In Class:C+
Comments:1310 - Great teacher! He's nice and he really wants his students to do well! And he looks good too!!! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Christian scriptures - He is a great christian sciptures prof. online quizes help big time when all your other classes are in class quizes. He is not a cocky teacher but really enjoys what he does so he doesnt try to black ball you. very intelligent and kind. Would take again and again - Grade In Class:B+
Comments:1310 - Mr. Reich is an awesome religion prof. I really enjoyed his class, and it was an easy A regardless of whether you have an interest in religion or not. He does a lot of random things like youtube videos so it's a fun class. It can get a little boring some days, but overall, this was an extremely awesome class - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Pretty awesome Prof. The workload is pretty average compared to most Scriptures classes. He was HILARIOUS in class - which keeps the class interesting. Online quizzes are really easy, and he's really fair if there was a confusing question. Honestly, the tests are really easy. I never studied and got a 96, 89, and 88. The final was pretty easy as well. The only tough part was spelling all the books of the Bible correctly. The only thing that really sucks about this class is the Harris book. That thing is a piece. It's awful. I think most religion classes have them, so it's not Reich, but still... it sucks. Great prof - take him. Boomer Sooner. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310/1350 - Professor Reich is an excellent, youth-oriented professor. He understands student study habits. Weekly quizzes which are extremely easy if you read the small reading assignment for the week. He drops the lowest quizzes which really helps your average. Non-comprehensive final! 4 tests plus optional comprehensive final to replace lowest test grade. Study notes for tests. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1350 - He is just great! He gives so much extra credit and he's very fair when it comes to tricky questions on test and quizzes!! He's amazing! You should really take him! - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Scriptures & Heritage - Great prof!!!! Take him. Seriously. His class is fun, laid back, and quite simple if you pay attention and do your work. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Christian Heritage - Professor Reich is the kind of professor you want for a course like religion. He treates his students with respect and interacts with them like a normal person does. The expectations are clearly set out and it is easy to do well if you put in some time to do each reading and complete the review before tests. The tests are all multiple choice. Highly recommend. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:Christian Heritage - This class was mostly reading, the quizzes on fridays were okay if you read but if you didnt expect a bad grade on them. Reich challenges you to think about what you believe in and why...good guy but sometimes powerpoints are too vague and not helpful when studying - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1310 - Good teacher. If you actually study you will havce no problem with his tests. He gives daily quizzes on blackboard which are extremely easy. There is some Bible reading which is mainly necessary if you aren't already familiar with the Bible as well as some textbook reading which can be lenghty. However, the length of reading assignments reduces dramatically when you reach the New Testament. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1301 - Christian scriptures. His course is almost all powerpoint and even though he says 90% of his tests are from the powerpoint, it was never true in my case. I got C's on all his tests even after memorizing the notes word by word. Attendance is very important because thats how he will raise your grade at the end. Do all his extra credit assignments and don't take his quizzes for granted, shoot for a 5 on each one because that 1 point will kill you at the end. I was 10 points away from the next grade up and he didn't boost me even though he told me I would more than likely be boosted so don't take him for granted. He is a great teacher though and loves his teaching, hes just not the easiest so every point you can get you should try to work for. - Grade In Class:C+
Comments:Christian Scriptures - He's a good professor, his class is mostly powerpoints which was great. Form study groups and you will do great, also attendance is very important, 3 - 5% of your grade is attendance so be there every class. - Grade In Class:A
